CBL Foundation Gives $5,000 to Support Quick Jobs

The Citizens Building and Loan Foundation of Greer has given $5,000 to support the Quick Jobs With a Future program at Greenville Technical College.  The gift will provide tuition assistance to students from the Greater Greer area.  Quick Jobs With a Future provides intense short term training to provide skills needed to enter a career field.  Most participants are unemployed, underemployed or people re-entering the workforce.  In presenting the gift CBL Foundation Board Chairman, Paul Rogers (Joshua's Way) said, "Our unemployment rate is too high and we are grateful for the opportunity to be a part of helping to make it one of the lowest in the state."
