Donors Help Greenville Tech EMT Students with Ambulance Simulator

Approximately half of those working in Greenville County as emergency medical technicians are graduates of Greenville Technical College.  Thanks to the support of the Greenville Health System, the Graham Foundation, and the Jolley Foundation, the program at GTC is now one of only a handful in the nation to provide students with real-world training aboard a state of the art mobile ambulance simulator.

The simulator is transportable anywhere the training capability is needed, from GTC campus to GTC campus, or at the site of a partner organization such as the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville, on the Greenville Health System campus.  The $150,000 simulator was unveiled at the Greenville Tech Barton Campus on May 23rd.
