Gift Helps Students, Faculty, Staff and Visitors at Greer Campus

A long-time supporter of the Greenville Tech Foundation has helped the Greer Campus become more user friendly and safer.   Arthur R. "Dick" Graham has given a gift that was used to purchase four electronic signs for the buildings at the campus.  These signs are among six that will be located throughout the Greer Campus and are a part of the communication system that is used on all campuses throughout the Greenville Technical College system.

The large strategically located signs provide students and visitors with a variety of important information such as upcoming events, workshops, clinics, scheduling changes, local weather, and more. Campus director, Jean Greer, said, "We greatly appreciate Dick's continued support of the Greer Campus. These signs allow us to better communicate with students and visitors by offering answers to commonly asked questions and can be used to quickly convey emergency information as well." Mr. Graham's response to the question of why he gave this gift was to the point, "because it was needed."
