IBM Web User Experience Grant awarded to Greenville Technical College

Below is an excerpt of a blog written by Dr. Keith Miller, President of Greenville Technical College (GTC), describing the partnership between IBM and GTC as a result of the IBM Web User Experience Grant:

Recently, IBM partnered with us through an IBM Services Grant aimed at helping us improve one of our most important communication tools - the Greenville Tech website. IBM consultants evaluated the user experience of our website as part of the grant. After assessing the site's branding, look and feel, and navigation, these experts presented their findings and recommendations for improvement in a one-day workshop - an experience that brought the consultants and college stakeholders together as a team.

Greenville Tech now has an action plan for site refinement, which will allow us to better reach prospective students. Being an excellent choice for students who want to enter the workforce or move onto a bachelor's degree destination isn't enough; we must make certain that our audience can find the information we are presenting. Thanks to IBM, Greenville Tech now has specific strategies for improvements that will make us better able to communicate with those who can benefit from what we provide.
