Lockheed Martin supports student scholarships

Lockheed Martin has given $30,000 to the Greenville Tech Foundation to support scholarships for aviation maintenance students at Greenville Technical College.   The gift, to be added to the Lockheed Martin Endowed Aviation Maintenance Scholarship Fund will provide scholarship assistance in perpetuity.   Bob Owenby, Lockheed Martin Greenville site executive (on right in photo), emphasized the importance of an “ongoing strong partnership between Lockheed Martin and Greenville Tech” for the future success of Lockheed Martin and for the College’s graduates.  College President, Dr. Keith Miller, (on left in photo) thanked Mr. Owenby on behalf of those students who will benefit, and assured him of the College’s commitment to provide high quality training for those pursuing certificates and degrees in aviation maintenance.
